Early June, we decided for the construction of a biogas plant. The increasing electricity bills motivated us to take this step. We expect to reduce our farm electricity bill from about KSHS 9,000. - by KSHS 4,500. And the gas bill of about KSHS 3,500. - will be eliminated completely from the month’s budget.

Green House Tomatoes – Success Story

In the middle of January, we started our green houses project for tomatoes. Within approx. 3 weeks the green houses were built and seeded. Since the middle of Mai 2011, a continuous harvesting started and now this gives us a regular income.

Our Activities bear first Fruits!

The activities on our test farm, according to our expectations caught the attention of the Chief of Jua Kali, which were very happy about. During his walk he saw some changes on our farm. The new water tank, the vegetable farm, the Push &Pull maize resulted into the Chief coming into our contact.
